Sony has sent a letter to all of its developers, stating that shovelware, reskinned games, non-games, and games designed just to award players an easy Platinum trophy would be shadowbanned or delisted, with the developers potentially barred from releasing any additional games in the future.

PlayStation China Hero Project phase three to include more than 10 titles

Sony Interactive Entertainment will expand its China Hero Project games incubation program with the launch of its third phase, the company announced at an event in Chengdu on Tuesday.

Phases one and two have supported a total of 17 games—seven of which have launched (Animal Force, ANNO: Mutationem, F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, Hardcore Mecha, Immortal Legacy, In Nightmare, and The Walker)—but phase three aims to include 10 titles or more.

“The scale of the third phase will far exceed the previous two,” Sony Interactive Entertainment director of China game production Bao Bo told Reuters.

Sony Interactive Entertainment will invest more than one million yuan into each title it supports, as well as support teams both big and small, Bo said.

Some titles from phase three will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and be supported by PlayStation Studios.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai president Tatsuo Eguchi said the success of Genshin Impact, a title developed by miHoYo which the company supported, has convinced management that Chinese games are important, adding that it is allocating more resources than ever to China.

Eguchi added that Sony Interactive Entertainment’s partnership with miHoYo is going strong.

Previously, Switchback VR was officially only confirmed as a "spring" 2023 release, but now it's been formally slapped with a 22nd February launch date, meaning it'll arrive alongside PSVR 2, where it'll cost £32.99/$39.99 USD.

To accompany the news, Supermassive has also detailed Switchback VR's Inferno Pack pre-order bonus on the PlayStation Store, which includes the Demon Handgun, special edition Gold Gun, premium skull and bones cart, plus the skull bobble head, for those that want to put their money down early.

So ganz habe ich das nicht verstanden. Die Disc-Version ist auf Amazon z.B. wie eh und je nicht verfügbar und MM wars gestern das gleiche. Also an der Seite hat sich exakt nichts verändert. Wo soll man da dann was vorbestellen können?
