Mit der neuen Version führt das Entwicklerteam gleich ein Engine-Upgrade durch. Dadurch kommen Assets zum Einsatz, die eine höhere Auflösung und schönere visuelle Effekte ermöglichen. Außerdem wird HDR unterstützt und AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution angeboten. Zusätzlich kriegen alle Spieler eine neue Map geboten, auf der ihr ein unbekanntes Biom unsicher macht.

Besser spät als nie. Finds aber beachtlich, wie lange dieser Titel supportet wird. Die Spielerzahlen dürften jetzt nicht wirklich hoch sein, weshalb es um so trauriger ist, das es bislang kein Crossplay zwischen PC und Konsole gibt.

Hieß es nicht immer, "Next-Gen"-Patch mit 60 FPS ist nicht drin, weil es dann kein Crossplay mit PS4 und Xbox One gibt?

Ich glaub mitlerweile bei unter 199€ würde das auch hier in Europa gut starten. Neben Amazon USA ist auch Best Buy aktuell "sold out".

Naja... man weiß ja nicht welche Mengen produziert wurden. Evtl. wurde ein kleiner Bestand einfach nur von den üblichen Sony-Alleskäufern weggekauft. Und wenn dann irgendwo nicht mehr Lieferbar ist dann greift der Fomo und die Skalper greifen zu.

Ich kann mir immer noch nicht vorstellen warum man das Ding kaufen sollte...

Ich hab auf meinem Steam Deck ein perfekte PS5-Remote laufen... das ist nice to have... aber nix wo ich extra Geld dafür zahlen würde. Die meisten Spiele sind gar nicht für so einen kleinen Bildschirm ausgelegt. Bei Everspace hatte ich z.B. Probleme überhaupt was zu erkennen...

Aber gut... ich kann mir bei vielen anderen Dingen auch nicht vorstellen warum man dafür Geld ausgibt...

It's arrived out of nowhere, but it's a welcome improvement for what has generally been regarded as a basic — and overpriced — remaster. We've taken the game for a quick test drive on PS5 via backwards compatibility, and we can confirm that it seems to run buttery smooth. Hurrah!

Hoffentlich was für die PSVR2... wobei... bis 2025 ist der Zug dann auch schon abgefahren.

Ich hätte gern Persitence für PSVR2... wobei auch da auch die PSVR1-Version noch top aussieht und hervorragend spielbar ist. Wo liegt denn die IP überhaupt? Hat die jetzt auch Sony?
