der verlag dark horse comics hat eine eigene gaming division gegründet.

darunter werden sie lizenzen an andere entwickler und publisher verleihen, wollen aber auch inhouse spiele entwickeln. ihnen gehört u.a. die rechte an hellboy, sin city, umbrella academy usw.

Dark Horse Games is currently in discussions with “some of the world’s top gaming studios” to create “AAA licensed titles based on Dark Horse Comics’ vast library,” which will be released over the next several years across multiple platforms, including consoles, PC, mobile, and the cloud.

The company’s in-house games, on the other hand, will focus on refreshing older and less established properties as video game properties. It will also produce and release multimedia projects such as webtoons and anime in conjunction with in-house games, and is currently in “active discussions” with “the world’s top game co-development studios and content production studios.” The first in-house project is already in production.

wobei altersfreigaben schon mehre monate vor release passieren. siehe z.b. die mass effect legendary edition, welches vor 7 monate ein rating in südkorea erhalten hat. das war noch vor der offiziellen ankündigung.


die spielen ja nicht durch das komplette spiel, sondern bekommen eben die bestimmten szenen gezeigt, die für das rating relevant sind.

hey, ich sag nicht, dass der shadow drop deswegen nicht passieren kann, aber leider bedeutet so ein rating nicht so viel. aber gut, in 11 tagen wissen wir ja sicherlich mehr.

Genau deswegen geht Blizzard vor die Hunde, wenn man kreativen Menschen keine Freiräume lässt, suchen die sich Alternativen.

Dabei hatte Blizzard doch irgendwann mal in den letzten Jahren von Activision die Anweisung, mehr Spiele zu produzieren. Wo sind die eigentlich alle? Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, WoW-AddOns…hab ich was vergessen?
