Supermassive Games is developing a new single-player interactive story game that will offer an “intense narrative experience filled with powerful life-or-death choices set within the backdrop of Dead by Daylight.” More information will be announced later in 2023.

Midwinter Entertainment is developing a new multiplayer player-versus-environment game that will tackle themes of greed and lust for power, with teams of up to four players taking on a “strange new corner of The Entity’s Realm.”

The Assassin's Creed maker announced its largest operating loss in history on May 16, but promised investors a healthy slate of big upcoming releases for the upcoming fiscal year which runs through March 2024. In addition to the release of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and the perennially missing-in-action pirate blockbuster, Skull and Bones, Ubsioft said "another large game" would also release within the next 12 months. According to sources familiar with the company's plans, who wished to remain anonymous because they were not authorized to speak to press, that additional game is Ubisoft's open world Star Wars game.

First revealed back in early 2021, Project Helix as it's known internally is being developed with Massive as the lead studio. Best known for The Division 1 and 2 military loot shooters, creative director Julian Gerighty said at the time that the Star Wars game would be a big departure from that series and "totally different" from the sorts of games Massive had worked on in the past.

Two sources tell Kotaku that development on Project Helix, which seems likely to include some form of interplanetary space travel, hasn't been progressing well and hopes are high internally that the game could be Ubisoft's first non-Assassin's Creed blockbuster hit some time. But they also say the company's goal to release the game within the current fiscal year is probably too ambitious. They still expect it to ultimately slip to sometime in the following fiscal year (which runs from April 2024 through March 2025).

nachdem skull & bones und mirage nach all den monaten immer noch mia sind (beide hätten schon längst erscheinen sollen) ist es natürlich fraglich, ob ubisoft überhaupt noch kontrollieren kann, wann nun welcher titel erscheint.

Ohne den Deal mit Singapur hätten sie es schon längst eingestampft.

Ich würde mich tatsächlich über das Avatar-Spiel freuen... die Welt bietet sich für sowas ja wirklich an. Dumm nur dass Ubi die Welt voller so viele belanglose Dinge stopfen wird... aber gut, damit könnte ich sogar leben wenn der Rest einigermaßen stimmt.

Wohl schon vor ein paar Tagen wurde ein kostenloses Next-Gen (bzw. Current-Gen) Update für Fallout 4 angekündigt.
Es solle einen Perfomance-Modus für hohe FPS und einen Quality-Modus für 4K geben. Finde ich zwar eigenartig, ich hätte angenommen dass die PS5/SX beides auf einmal stemmen kann... aber egal... 60FPS nehme ich da mit Kusshand.

Noch besser wäre ein VR-Update für die PSVR2... aber das wird wohl, genau wie ein Skyrim-VR-Update wohl eher Wunschdenken bleiben.

ende letzten jahres wurde das angekündigt, aber bis jetzt gabs noch keine weiteren infos. entweder spart sich das xbox/bethesda als shadowdrop für ihren showcase auf oder es wird irgendwann in der promo um die neue fallout amazon tv-serie veröffentlicht.

Ja... ist eben ein übliche WOW, BIG, Twitter-Meldung ohne irgendeinen Hintergrund. Große Namen bringen erstmal gar nix... auch die haben schon oft genug gar nix auf die Reihe bekommen. Es muss was gezeigt werden... erst dann könnte man WOW rufen.
