Nachdem man ja aus der Fan-Bubble ständig mit Verkaufscharts-Platzierungen bombardiert wurde erscheinen mir jetzt 1 Million verkaufte Exemplare gar nicht so hoch.

Brutal. Ich habe für Hellblade 2 aber auch gar keine Werbung gesehen.

Selbst massig Werbung würde ja wohl nicht viel ändern, denn wenn man das Spiel für 3 Euro im Game Pass durchzocken kann (was bei 6 Stunden Spielzeit in einem Monat gut schaffbar ist), gibt's eben keinen Grund, das Spiel zu kaufen.

Hmm... könnte evtl. daran liegen dass man Spiele wie Resident Evil nicht auf einem Mobiltelefon spielen will?

Hab mich ja schon bei der Ankündigung gewundert ob es für sowas tatsächlich eine Zielgruppe gibt... nunja... anscheinend ja nicht!

Jup, bei iOS verstehe ich das auch. Auf dem iPad wird es schon interessanter, auch weil man seit dem letzten Air/Pro ja auch die iPads direkt an den Monitor anbinden kann.

Aber sowas muss man auch mal Zeit geben. Der typische Kunde sucht solche Spiele erstmal nicht und dann ist es für mobiles Zocken auch noch sau teuer.

Es gibt sehr viele Spiele die sich auf nem Tablet oder gar Handy anbieten... RE, Death Stranding oder Assassins Creed gehören da aber auf keinen Fall dazu.

Ich würde jetzt einfach mal behaupten dass Leute, die sich für solche Titel interessieren, auch eine geeignetere Hardware als ein Handy oder ein Tablet dafür haben. Vor allem weil die bessere Hardware zum spielen auch noch deutlich günstiger ist als der Apple-Kram.

Wenn man z.B. ein iPad auch an den Monitor/TV bringen kann, schaut das evtl. wieder anders auch... aber auch hier: Wie hoch ist wohl die Anzahl der Leute die das macht... die keine andere Hardware zum TV-Zocken haben.

Egal wie ich das drehe oder wende... ich kann mir nach wie vor keine Zielgruppe für solche Titel auf den Systemen vorstellen. Auch nicht nach einiger Zeit... ich bezweifle stark dass da auch nur ansatzweise die Kohle für die Ports wieder reinkommt. Ich kann mir nur vorstellen dass es Sinn macht wenn einem die Verbreitung der eigenen Titel wichtig ist... unabhängig von den einzelnen Verkaufszahlen.

Auf Rettungsmission in wundervollen Welten: die game Sales Awards im Juni

Zwei Titel bekommen einen game Sales Award des game – Verband der deutschen Games-Branche für ihre besonderen Verkaufserfolge im Juni. Das Abenteuer-Strategiespiel „Pikmin 4“ hat sich über 100.000-mal in Deutschland verkauft und wird mit dem game Sales Award in Gold ausgezeichnet. Im vierten Teil des „Pikmin“-Abenteuers gehen Spielerinnen und Spieler auf eine Erkundungsreise in eine Welt voller kurioser Kreaturen und helfen einer Gruppe Weltraumreisender, die auf Rettung wartet. Ein weiterer Titel für Nintendo Switch erhält im Juni ebenfalls die Gold-Trophäe: „Princess Peach: Showtime!“ konnte ebenso die 100.000-Marke knacken. In diesem Action-Adventure-Spiel schlüpfen Gamerinnen und Gamer in die Rolle von Prinzessin Peach, die das Funkeltheater und seine Besucher vor einem mysteriösen Bösewicht und seiner Truppe schützen muss.

In comparison, 2024 has seen just two new games break into the top ten sales chart: Helldivers 2 (at No.2) and The Last of Us: Part 2 Remastered (at No.10).
