It's finally coming - GameCube games will soon be playable via emulation on Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches, complete with a resolution boost, snappier loading times and online multiplayer. Except, we've seen this before, in the form of Nintendo's official emulated efforts on the Nvidia Shield TV - where more taxing Wii games were released on the Chinese Nvidia store. Tom recaps what might have been, and whether this could have been possible on the original Switch model years ago.

In den USA erhöht Nintendo im Zuge des Zoll-Chaos die Preise für seine Switch 2 Accessoires. Der Preis für die Konsole bleibt vorerst unverändert, Nintendo hält sich aber alle Türen offen.

Announced on April 2 at $449.99, and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain as announced at $499.99. Pricing for both physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also remain unchanged at launch.

However, Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions. Other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions.
