To kick off the 20th Anniversary of God of War, Santa Monica Studio hosted a special developer panel on March 15, 2025 at Gallery Nucleus with a gathering of fans and creators to reflect on two decades of the franchise.
Moderated by Shannon Studstill, the panel featured current and former developers from across the God of War series: Bruno Velazquez, Mihir Sheth, Cecil Kim, Rafael Grassetti, Todd Papy, Ariel Lawrence, and Jason McDonald.
Together, they shared personal stories, creative insights, and untold moments from behind the scenes - offering a rare look at the legacy and evolution of God of War from 2005 to today.

Narrative Director Matt Sophos moderated a heartfelt and humorous discussion with returning cast members: TC Carson (Kratos), Christopher Judge (Kratos), Carole Ruggier (Athena), Sunny Suljic (Atreus), Danielle Bisutti (Freya), Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Robert Craighead (Brok), and Adam J. Harrington (Sindri).
From emotional stories to unexpected laughs, this reunion was a tribute to the unforgettable characters and performances that have defined God of War across the years. Whether you've been with Kratos since the beginning or joined his journey in the Norse saga, this one’s for you.
