#5 - dragon quest 7 remake (wird wahrscheinlich schon im dragon quest jubiläums stream am 27.05. angeteasert)

#1 und #4 wurden vor paar tagen von einem bekannteren square enix insider im era schon angedeutet/bestätigt und #4 wurde dann nochmal gestern oder so von jemand bestätigt, der auch letzten sommer den ghost of tsushima multiplayer modus korrekt vorher gesagt hat (also nicht nur die existenz, sondern auch die übernatürlichen themen usw.).

würde aber trotzdem davon alles nicht für bare münze nehmen. falls die richtigen leaks wirklich nachher ans licht kommen, werden wir es ja sehen und gerade in richtung dragon quest haben wir die woche schließlich hat square enix schon einen eigenen stream.

Die Liste ist ziemlich ernüchternd, mit Ausnahme von #4. Material zu FFXVI und Babylon's Fall nehme ich aber natürlich trotzdem gerne.

Mal unabhängig davon, ob einem die Liste gefällt oder nicht, aber sie besteht nahezu ausschließlich aus Knaller-Marken von Marvel über Tomb Raider bis Final Fantasy. Das wird schon für Aufsehen in der Medienlandschaft sorgen, wenn Inhalte davon vorab im Netz landen. Ich bin jedenfalls gespannt auf neues Material zu FF XVI, dem Spin-Off und Babylon's Fall, sofern die Liste am Ende denn stimmt. Aber dann bitte offiziell in 4K und nicht in gestückelten, schlecht abgefilmten 3-Sekunden-Clips, die auf Reddit erscheinen.

kommt sicherlich irgendwann, aber ja, wer final fantasy content erleben und dafür nicht 1-2 jahre extra warten will, kommt an einer ps5 nicht vorbei.

schätze mal part 2 wird dann auch wieder erstmal zeit-exklusiv sein.

We can confirm some, but not all, of what's in store for the codenamed "SteamPal."

Multiple sources familiar with the matter have confirmed that the hardware has been in development for some time, and this week, Valve itself pointed to the device by slipping new hardware-related code into the latest version of Steam, the company's popular PC gaming storefront and ecosystem.

On Tuesday, SteamDB operator Pavel Djundik spotted the change in Steam's code, which pointed to a new device named "SteamPal." The name is a derivative of a previously discovered code term, "Neptune," which began appearing in September of last year and came with a "Neptune Optimized Games" string. At the time, curious code crawlers thought this discovery referred to some type of controller.

Technically, that's true. The "SteamPal," whose name we're putting in scare quotes because we do not have confirmation of the device's final name, is an all-in-one PC with gamepad controls and a touchscreen. In other words, it looks and functions like a Nintendo Switch (albeit without removable "Joy-Con" controller functionality).

The Total War and Alien Isolation studio has been working on the shooter for several years, but it’s yet to be shown publicly. According to job listings, the game will be “something radically different in the FPS space.”

The new image appears to suggest that one of the unique elements of the shooter will be its many references to other Sega titles.

Sonic can be seen floating in space, while a set of shelves next to the player house a Sega logo, a bunch of bananas (which may be a reference to Super Monkey Ball) and some paint-sprayed cassette tapes (which may refer to Jet Set Radio). There’s also a Virtua Racing screenshot on the wall.

Epic Games has revealed that Unreal Engine 5 has gone into early access, with the revised engine available to the public complete with a new demo project to play around with. Square Enix has officially announced Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate. Platforms and a release date were not announced, but a simultaneous worldwide release is planned.


The game will feature dark, mature content, and force players to make various choices and decide their way of life. The series’ traditional command battles will also be revamped.
