Kojima had previously mentioned anime as a potential future medium for Death Stranding in an interview with Variety last year, but this appears to be the first official confirmation that an anime adaptation is now in the works.

Bin leider mit Teil 1 nicht so wirklich warm geworden. Bin noch bis Episode 3 gekommen, aber dann konnte ich mich nicht mehr motivieren.

Ja ich habs am Ende auch nur durchgezockt, damit ich wenigstens die Story von Teil weis, wenn ich den 2. Teil anfange. Aber dazu motivieren, alle Bunker auf 5 Sterne zu bringen, konnte ich mich nicht und ich bin am Ende auch eher durchgerusht.
Mich hats immer so bei Mountain Knot City verloren, da hat die Motivation meist nachgelassen.

Aber mal sehen, wie der 2. Teil wird. Denn auch wenn der erste irgendwann zäh für mich wurde, wars dennoch ein super Spiel.
